Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

My son and his friend had a half day off from school so we hit the local ponds. I had earlier looked for small spoons at Bass Pro and the didn't find much but I did pick up a 1/32 and 2/32 Daredevil that looked promising. I tipped with a Gulp Waxie and had pretty good luck with some gills, green sunfish, crappies, and some hybrids.. mostly small but some decent. It was fun. I did revert back to my old method that the kids were having good luck with and caught some that way as well.

Any recommendations for other spoons to pick up and where I can get them?

That last one is very nice!
looks like you did pretty good there Bill, it takes a bit of time to adjust to the "spoon chuckin" method, try some techniques that work for at first, be patient and tight lines to ya.
the first fish looks realy nice
