Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hi all, I had an attachment of the Sproat Hook by Mustad #3365C if interested. These can be obtained from the Bay de Noc Lure Company that makes the Swedish Pimple but I'm afraid you may have to buy them in lots of 100. They offer them in a #4,6,8 sizes as well. Mustad will not sell them in lots any smaller then 1000 so if you want them, I think BdN might be your best bet. Hope this helps those looking for them. Sincerely, Bob

Hey bob I did have the chance to use the swedes that I put the eagle claws on and they have worked well as I caught a few crapps, whitebass and a number of gills with them.Only problem is they hang up once in awhile on the snap. If anyone would like the number of the hook let me know and I can look at teh package and find out if you have problems finding the mustad hook that Bill recommends like I did.
I got the 2010 Jann's Netcraft Catalog this past week and see they have Mustad Sproat hooks in there that go all the way down to size 10 and 12 for the really small spoons. Look on page 33 or go to their website www.jannsnetcraft.com. For anyone who likes fooling with their own bait making, this catalog is an absolute MUST! Sincerely, Bob
Bob ...I went hunting for the stated Mustad #3365C hook item...unable to find, so have
settled with Eagle Claw 084# size 8 Plain Shank hook...package of 10 for $2.00...seem to
do the trick....as an alternative...the EC hook eye is large enough to utilize on the existing slipt ring on all the spoons I have....

Bay de Noc Lures will sell you a bag of 100 of any of the 3 sizes you might want for $5.00 plus a couple of dollars for shipping. I got a bag of each size #3365C and it still only cost me $2.00 for shipping. I'm set for life with hooks now. Bob
Bob... I'm trying to buy some of those hooks from Bay de Noc as well, how did you contact them? I used their email info request form and submitted it, but they haven't gotten back to me. Did you find a customer service phone number?
Joe, Phone # is 906-428-1133. Check out their "Crushed Ice" Pimples! They are awesome! Bob
Thanks!
Also got to Fish and Save . com and click on either the spoons or jig section. You'll find a few selections of swedish pimples in limited colors and sizes but you can't beat the prices anywhere else. Bob
