Do you love big bluegill?
Northern Wisconsin Adventure
Spent the last week with some buddies up in Northern Wisconsin fishing. Spent an afternoon at a small lake after renting a boat from a landowner. (The only access) This sub 20 acre lake was extremely infertile and had ZERO shoreline development. Word of mouth told of big bluegills and although the weather was icky, we got into a few of them. I didn't catch many fish, but I did find out that even these northern gills could be spooned. The one in the picture comes in at just under 10" and caught on a charturese glow pattern.
I've still got one week before I begin my career (recently graduated from college), so I'll be out drifting the depths around here for big gills, I'll post pictures as they come.
