Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Thanks everyone for helping me rig my new wonderpole! I think im really going to like it. I have one more question though.

For all you with a telescoping pole how do you keep the line from rubbing once its all collapsed? Mine came with a cap to close it up so all the sections dont slide out. I noticed though that when i wrapped all the line around the "keeper" my line was taunt against the edge of biggest section since they all go into it. I worry that might be sharp enough to damage the line? What do you guys do? I was thinking about putting some electrical tape around the end to help.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & tight lines!

I use a pretty stout line and add a thin leader section to the end.
The wonder sharp edge doesn't cause me much problem.

But go ahead and add the tape. It can't hurt.
Hmm okay maybe I should get some braid or something. Thanks for the help! I think yhe tape would actually affect how well it telescopes so maybe I wont.
