Cool affect or effect which ever the case

Been tying a few flies lately using stretch magic cord that you can find at most craft stores.  It comes in different colors and stretches really thin.  Be sure to get the stretch magic brand as there is some that is hollow and thicker and doesn't have the super stretching quality, which will bulk up as you try to wrap it and will not give you a tapered effect.The clear color has a magnifying affect on what is wrapped underneath, which i think is cool. Crystal flash and mylar tinsel is amplified when used as a base layer.Caught a few fish yesterday  on these body styles.  So this effect is having an affect, whichever the case maybe.  I could never keep these words straight.
