Late summer into early fall tough bite on Lake Norfork

Howdy Y’all

Well it’s gotten tougher on Lake Norfork September has really been slow the heat early made it tough to fish now it’s gotten colder and the wife hates cold.

The fish have been far and few between the lovely 9” to 10” have all but disappeared and now there are the 6” to 8” really far between it’s likely more the peckerfish types with the odd 4” to 6” showing up.

Now the fishing is mid day when the heat of the sun warms the water and us lol.

Gotten a few itty bitty kitties one was 4” the other was 3” hitting my catfish line.

So I try to find a pattern and where the kids have gone.

Well more as the season moves along.

Still looking for that bobber match for the light bite.

Slip and round have their moments and looking to talk the wife into a few Thill slim sticks.

Well the hunt continues here’s hoping for better results.
