Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I usually pack up the Bluegill flies right about now and start to focus on coldwater species. It seems though that alot of people still have success in the winter also. I'm just kind of wondering what patterns are being used. Obviously with cold weather insects seem to be less of a factor in a fish's diet so I'm just curious about what else is out there for winter flies.

HEATH.. WE'RE CATCHING BLUEGILL AND REDEAR ON THE PASCAGOULA RIVER IN MISSISSIPPI.WE'RE USING BH OLIVE CRYSTAL WB 12,S AND 14,S.THESE ARE WORKING GREAT IN 5' TO 10' FT OF WATER
Thanks to Greg McWilliams for supplying the black and bluegill recipe while I was visiting my son near Minneapolis. Jen's picture of the fly in her post is good also. I have used black, dark brown, rust, and dark green successfully so far.
