Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I would really appreciate some tips on Walleye Night Fishing from shore.I've never done it and would like to try it. What bait and lure are you guys hitting those nice fish with? Rigs and gear suggestions would be great !

Thanks ,John Sheehan

If you know good number of walleye in your lake and go look for rocks area that closer to deep water and be there half hour before dark. If no rocks then look for hard bottom, dock, riprap dam or inlet creek or bridge. I like to cast silver or gold no. 9 rapala with a small snap! I also like 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig with twister tail in yellow or white. 8 lbs test line and I like 7 feet medium spinning for easier to cast lure farther! Peak walleye between half hour before dark until about 2 hours after dark! Also early morning before sunrise. Few very large walleye around midnight! Just to try to find best spot and stay there, keep quite and good luck!
Thanks for the advice John!
