Do you love big bluegill?
Tying the Myakka Minnow
This is a very good fly when bluegill and other fish are feeding on small minnows.
Materials:
Put hook in vise, attach mono thread and tie in marabou clump:
Clip marabou to about 1/4 inch:
Add .20 gauge lead wire and wrap 6-8 times:
Tie in Bodi-Braid:
Wrap forward and build up minnow-shaped body:
Add 3D stick-on eyes:
Brush on Devcon 2-Ton Epoxy and allow to dry:
