Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I guess I'll have to face the fact that I'm getting old. Among other changes I am having trouble seeing my bobber while night fishing. Does anyone have experience with the lighted bobbers, who likes what?

ive used a couple and like them a lot for cat fishing they have a little led in them so the battery last a long time. i got mine at wal mart one is the traditional sphere shape with some bb's inside for some noise and the other is a can/pencil shape with no bb's. the only thing i dont like is they are to big and heavy for most panfish in imho. by the time the get one under water they are hooked real deep.  for smaller fish i would suggest something like this

wow long link sorry, look around at kids stores and party supplies stores. you can get almost the exact same item minus the part that attaches to the line in bulk pack with a few colors for only a few dollars. then just tape them in place on the boober or line.

man i need to slow down my typing - so many mistakes.
