Do you love big bluegill?
New member here... moved to Houghton Lake, MI last year. Found your page and love it. I learned years ago that if I couldn't get wax worms stay home. Using the tips I found on this site 1st time out we got 28 (as my grandson calls them... Bluechin's) they were most at 9". Small jigs, chartreuse and a wax worm on a ultra lite. Now to figure out how to catch the big perch that live here. My neighbor had a string of 15 perch that weighed 15#'s that he caught thru the ice.

Thanks will do. Any particular color of Gulp Alive? I have been told there have been several over 11" caught this year up here on Houghton Lake.
Thanks. All I could find at the big outdoors store this morning is Emerald Shiner, will give them a try. Wondering how you hook them up? Thanks, John
Boy is my face red. I forgot the most important part. You need add a wax worm. Without the wax worm you will get a few bites but not a bucket full. :-) Have fun, John
