Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I've been lerkin on this site for about 3-4 week's, today I deceided to join in.

I like all kind's of fishin infact that's all I do. The last few year's I really got into fishin for Gill's, both on the ice and open water. The largest Gill I ever cought was 12" on a fly on the Delaware River about 10 year's ago, long before Digital camera's (CAR) For the most part I realeise 98% of my Gill's. The last 3 year's I've been fishin 140 acer lake neer my home, it has a Trout, Bass, Crappie's, Pickerl, Perch, and good size Gill's. On an average the Gill's run in the 8 to 10" bracket. I also spend a lot of time on the N. B. of the Susquehanna river fishin for Smallmouth Bass, and Channel Cat's.

I'm looking forward to spending more time here.

Welcome!!!! Looking forward to your stories and pics!!
Wow! Eight to ten inch gills...tell me more! Good luck in all of your fishing!
Welcome, and I know whatcha mean - fishing's about all I do, too! :-) Mainly stock tanks around my house, one of which is only around 30'x60'x2.5', but has given me loads of medium gills and a couple of LMB around 15". Bunches of fun!
