These are a few interesting takes that may work where you fish or maybe they don't apply.......But they are good discussion points and maybe you have a few of your own theories that you may share......Everybody that loves to catch bluegill dreams of catching that illusive pound class gill....I search for anything I can read to improve my execution on the black waters of North Carolina's coastal region.....

Interesting article, with some pertinent info. I would add that big BG waters are special places...and for them to remain so, I recommend a selective harvest. Those big males are so crucial to maintaining the quality of fish present, and if enough are removed, then the BOW MAY suffer for it.....again, lots of variables in play. And while we don't criticize another angler's right or ability to harvest as they see fit according to their state's individual mandates, I still prefer to limit my catch...not catch my limit.
