Two trips to The Everglades netted more than 500 fish. The fishing is red hot down there. We did catch bluegill, but not many. Bulk of the catch was oscar. Bet we caught more than 300 oscar over two trips.
They're the fightingest fish in Florida's fresh waters.
These Oscars are really neat looking fish. They look like they could put up a nice fight. I know they are found in Florida, but how far North are they found? What is the coldest water temps they can tolerate? Would love to fish for these fighters. Wish they could survive in our Kentucky Lakes!
