Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Tonight, as I was feeding the fish, I observed this fellow trying his hand at catching  one of my feeding Bluegills. I watched him trying in vain to connect with one, but he just wasn't quick enough..... until, this big male Bluegill dropped his guard just lone enough....  Wham! the snapper's neck extended, his jaws slammed shut and it was all over.

The turtle brought his catch to the bank , and proceeded to have his supper..

Guess he likes Bluegill as much as I do.....
