Hey Mikey-D , 90% of my fishing is the jig under a float technique…..currently we have water temps above 90 degrees so I’m seeking out shade on cypress flats, shorelines and docks…..95% of the Albemarle is less than ten feet so deep is not a typical summer pattern for me. I only fish deep if I intend to keep fish so occasionally in the winter I’ll search deeper locations…we should be seeing an up tick when water temps slowly start falling……good luck to you….
