Do grass shrimp inhabit any body of water or state or do they live only in brackish waters in the coastal states? I was wondering if we could possibly have any here in Arkansas?
Jim, when I pull up my friends list you are on it. I don' t know what I could be doing wrong. Maybe you can shed some light on the situation. I am not the most tech savvy.

Welcome Jim to fishing electronics. I put this group together to help understand our electronics. Our electronics do so much and are so underutilized cause most of us don't know just exactly what they can do and what we can achieve once we learn that learning curve. I have found out the more we use our finder the more it becomes second nature. Welcome Jim please feel free to share. GOOD FISHIN....
Hey Jim
Beautiful big P-SeedGills!!! Been away for awhile and glad to be back! Been sick but hope to get out this weekend and if lucky will try to post some pics! Love all your great info and In Fisherman tips and pics!!!!
Hey Jim I forgot to ask about how you thought of my jigs. I dont come on this site anymore so if you can email me I'd appreciate it. Thanks again slabjiggies82@Gmail.com
Hey bud I don't get to go as much as I like but I haven't ever caught as many fish in my life ever he has taught me a lot and I really enjoy going with him
Thanks Jim for the thoughts......we made out o.k. on this one as we ended up just 25 miles west of the eye wall as it passed over Kill Devil Hills.....never lost power either so we consider ourselves fortunate as our close neighbors on the Outer Banks pay a big price for living on barrier islands. It will take a few days to realize the impact on the rivers and sounds but I feel like we may have escaped the big marsh turn over that traditionally takes a toll on our fish populations. Fingers crossed until I get back out this weekend to see........
Hi Jim Just joined this site in hopes of finding some places to fish. I live in Severn Md just south of the airport. 71 USN retired and hoping for some insight on local ponds/lakes public or private that would an allow an old geezer access and to keep a couple of eating fish. Bass/Bluefill/Catfish all accepted (lol). Hope to hear from you
HEY JIM , JEFFREY, SLEEPY, AND ALL THE REST OF YOU EASTCOASTERS , GOOD LUCK WITH THIS STORM AND STAY SAFE AND WARM !!!!!!!! GUESS IT APPLIES TO DOWN EAST FOLKS TOO !!!!!!! NEVER SEEM A WINTER LIKE THIS ONE BEFORE, AS FAR AS COLD AND SNOW TOGETHER GOES....... I LOVE WINTER , BUT WITH THE COLD THIS YEAR IT'S TERRIBLE .......
Hang in there Jim.....hope all is well for you folks up there.....I turned on the CBS evening news tonight and it started with snowfall totals from Winter Storm Pax and Westminster made the cut at more than 16" and counting.........And there is actually people that enjoy this stuff?.....I'll never be able to relate....give me triple digit heat index any day......We'll have to look back on this storm while fishing this summer......I should have known back in late October when we were met with pretty brutal conditions that weekend during your visit....Go Figure!
I hope you don't mind the questions Jim, on the Poly Wogz baits - but I reckon of you like them like that, they have something going. If they will give worms a run for their money, well...
I have a ton of twist tail grubs, paddle tail Slider grubs, tentacled tubes and grubs... and the fish tend to give them a pass. It not that they won't bite them, but its not like they trip over themselves bite them either. I experiment with them, but I always have a gov of worms handy, too.
Nevertheless, I can't escape the notion that somewhere out there is a
soft bait, be it plastic or bio-based, the fish will actually prefer.
The full weight of human achievement at out fingertips, and we can't improve on the lowly earth worm? It boggles my mind.
Anyway, when you run the jigs beneath the float, are they rigged slip fashion or clipped fast to the line?
As soon as you mentioned them, I hit on google. Little pollywog baits; at last that's how Its
I'd describe them. They don't look like much, I gotta confess.
What is it about them that you like?
How did you fish them?
Be careful in all that stuff Jim and maybe this is the last big one of the season.....Ten day forecast doesn't look too bad if you believe meteorologists can actually predict that far in the future...LOL

I'm glad Jim....at this point, a little warm up will help the fishing the most in the Mid-Atlantic region......
