I've already bookmarked both fish data bases and THANKS! Good info in each. Now, I'm off to fish Moms pond in the john boat! This is its first voyage since the repairs... hope it stays afloat! [No fear, I used the GOOD duct tape!]

Comment by Michael Cox on April 28, 2011 at 12:53pm: Well, I went back and got another one that wasn't quite as dark. I will have to say it is a spotted sunfish. Very unique patterns on them when they are getting ready to spawn. There goes my Wikipedia page, lol.
