Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Here are the things I carry down to the pond.
1 roll mono tippet, 4#
1 roll fluoro tippet, 4#
Assortment of flies
Leatherman Micra fishing tool.
Forceps, courtesy of Don Schmotzer.

The flies are in a recycled package, which formerly held hooks. Don left the forceps here the last time he was over.
I carry this lot in a small bubble wrap envelope.

I agree david;;  I found years ago a double sided plastic box  I could put essentials in; and drop in my back pocket.  some of the boxes at wal -mart can still be found!

The flies go down to size #16. Most are #10-12.

I have a vest.
This is just to show how little one really needs, to fish little.
I don't always want to "gear up" to simply throw a line. Every outing need not be an ordeal, a safari.
Call me a minimalist.

You need a vest!

I've got enough room in the pockets of mine that I can comfortably carry three fly boxes, several rolls of mono/flouro for tippets, a pair of forcep/scissors, and still have room left over!

That said, some of your flies are small!  What's the size range on those bugs?
