What kind of paints are you using?  I'm thinking about starting to do my own tungsten ice jigs.  Powdercoat base, some kind of liquid paint for dots/stripes, then either a dip into something to seal it all.

WELL;; GEE GUYS;; I JUST POSTED THESE  FOR FUN;; NO IDEA I WOULD GET SO MANY RESPONSES;; MANY THANKS FOR  THE KIND WORDS EVERBODY !      ALLEN;;;  YOU ARE VERY CORRECT BUDDY !    EITHER A DOWEL ROD;; TRIMED DOWN ;; OR A ROUND TOOTH PICK TRIMMED OFF ON ONE END; LEAVING A FLAT END;; MAKES FOR THE ;; (( OUTER RIM ) OF THE EYE;;OF SAY;; WHITE COLOR;; THEN;; USING THE POINTED END; DIP INTO BLACK PAINT;; DOT THE EYE !!     MAKES EVERYTHING LOOK A LOT BETTER !!   THEN A DIP INTO SOME;; POLYURTHANE;; TO SECURE THE PAINT; PLACE ON A DRYING WHEEL FOR BEST RESULTS

I used to get 1/64th oz Arkie jigs at the Wally World back in Oklahoma.  Haven't looked around up here in MI for them.  I've been ordering ball-head jigs on sickle hooks from chuckanddeb.com for years.  No collars on the jigs, just a plain ball head.  I need to order a bunch more.  Out of 1/80th size 12, almost out of 1/80th size 8, 1/64 size 8, and 1/32 size 8.

Hey Carl, how are you painting the eyes?  Toothpicks dipped into some kind of liquid paint?

HEY JOHN;; I HAVE NO IDEA IF THESE ARE AS SMALL AS THEY GO;; THESE 1/64;; FIRST TIME IVE EVER SEEN THEM IN MY AREA;; SOOO;; IM GRABBING ALL I CAN !!  1/32;; I CAN  GET PRACTICALLY ANYTIME !!!  DIFFERENT BODY STYLES ON THEM TO;;   MINNOW HEAD;; TUBE; ROUND HEAD;; ANVIL STYLE  DO YO UWANT SOME IN THE 32 ??  ON MY WAY BACK TO WALLY WORLD TOMMOR TO GET MORE 64 TYPE;; IF THEY HAVE ANY LEFT !    I;LL GRAB YOU A FEW IF THEY DO !    OH HECK YEA MAN;;;  IF YOU HAVE A EXTRA TAIL OR 2  ;; I CAN ALWAYS USE MATERIAL !

Hey Carl is this as light as the Arkie line goes? I like 64th, 32nd and 24th oz. Jigs when I can find them . Do you need any Squirrel Tail?
