Did a little wading today and caught one little native RBS ,shown here in pregnancy .The other pic is the small stream that was her home area.  It was a short exploration at a nearby lower section of the Ringwood Brook(my sanctuary)that I never fished before. Then I went to the lake twice and caught plenty of White Perch Yellow Perch ,about 5 Crappie and many small gills . Fished a lot today .

Wading and fishing is one of my true pleasures in the summer, chasing smallmouth late in the afternoon. Having smallmouth hit top water flies in a clear mountain river is just heaven to me .  LOFRThis is the Strawberry River at the Crappy Cabin , one of the county's Best Kept Secrets for Smallmouths.
