Put a little BUBBLE WRAP around your TUBES, It will be except from a Direct LIGHTNING strike!!!!!!!

LOL I was thinking about installing a solar panel acting as a water deflection tray, but at the same time, use as a battery charger and a slow smoker. But, since it's an inflatable bladder system, hm..I don't want to get the sinking feeling looming over my head..you know what I mean?

Where is the GRILL and sink on the back?????? I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :-)

Leo, that advanced tube rigging site is the best float-tube how-to I've ever seen, gives me something to do after I get my boat outfitted :-)  Thanks for the link!

David, whether he's a regular boat fan or not, it might not matter - he'll go out to his garage some morning and find it had reached critical mass over night and there'll be a bass, er, I mean bluegill boat sitting where the 'toon was ;-)

Steve, you'll be surprise what you can hammer during the cold season. You have to switch from panfish to trouts though. Average size trouts up there were 4lbs. Higher ends were 8 to 10lbs holdovers from previous stocking season. Try to search for them along the northern and southern areas near the bridge's outlet, roughly 250 meters from the buoy line. They like to hole up there due to the exiting currents. Cats and carps are holed up along the cafe and underside docks during the cold days. You'll nail them late in the day when the sun heats up the surround water. For panfish, you really have to hunt them deep, where the temp is the warmest, which is dead smack int he middle of the lake. To get there, you have to deal with the boaters and wind. Lord mighty. Too much for me to handle.

Lake Perris looks to be a beautiful place Leo. Lake Perris is new to me, as it was built after I left Southern California. Will visit Lake Perris next time out to visit my parents. Big Bear was always great, but not during the winter! I don't really care for COLD temps.

Steve, it's Lake Perris. Just use Google, and type "Lake Perris, CA". Use the satellite overview and 45° angle. It's a water body to truly have fun on. Beside that, Big Bear Lake is the next best one within the Inland Empire.

Dick, here are some photos for your float to mount a bucket load of gears, with specific instructions made by the Aaron from the Inflatable Navy:

Good luck! Let me know if you need additional help in calculating buoyancy load. Your float should be sufficient in supporting up to 350lbs. If you feel a bit uneasy with in in the water, I can help you rig up something that acts as a transport cart system, and create an additional 50lbs of buoyancy to support your total float weight and added gears.

also I will need a way to mount my fish finder
