Thanks for the replies....Ken,you'd have some fun catching these.John,thats the Cibolo creek & TPWD has them listed as edible(i catch & release)pretty much fish for them as you would sunnies.LedHed & Vince ya'll would have a good time catching the bigger ones....they put up a good fight.

They look like they would be strong fighters, based on their body shape and large dorsal fin.

That looks cool, where is that body of water are they a food fish? Do you fish them same as other panfish?

Not a gill......but,if you get into a bunch of 10 to 11 inch Rios you will have fun with the action they provide...
