Troy...Richmond Mill is owned and operated by the King Fisher Society and offers a variety of hunting and fishing packages. The lake was drained and rebuilt back in 2000 and they installed a food supplement system with the help of Bob Lusk ( on this site). It was refilled and stocked in 2005 and there are a few shellcrackers in there but I have caught none. For more info check their website at kingfishersociety.com.

Thanks for the comments Troy. I have a hard time targeting the Big Shells when the Coppernose are busting up shallow. The fight on light tackle is awesome! I get down to the Francis-Marion lakes in S.C. when I want to concentrate on nice Shellcrackers. Although it sounds inviting to back into a shady spot and put some red wigglers on the bottom.
