    Sorry it took so long for me to reply we went on another deployment.
    And yeah I still fish for gills caught a half a pounder at little creek reservoir were it's great fishing there

    Hey Nick...from Norfolk, huh? My mom's folks are all from there and N Carolina. Ever fish Cahoon, Burnt Mills, Western Branch or Prince? I fished Prince as a child and we got big gills.

    Hey Nick...I would say that pink in general has been a very good color for me on crappie over the years, from bright, hot pink to just a hint of pink. It is not the best color, all the time. But on many outings I have had real good success with it. I would say your bubble gum option should be prime for crappie.
