Swung through your are this morning; went the 20/95 route coming back from Atlanta as I visited an Aunt in Conyers. Lot of really good looking water along that stretch of 20.
I think there are advantages and disadvantages to slip floats. Slip floats don't show the "up bite" as well as a fixed float. And I also agree about the wind as well. When it's windy I prefer a longer stem below the waters surface and that were I prefer to tie my line.The thill floats are all pretty decent for the money. I always remove the spring and use surgical tubing and a rubber band in the groove. Does not cause as much damage to your line
