David I'm about as far away from you and still be in Tennessee as possible. I have never fished Douglas so any advice I have would be the way I would approach a new body of water. I would start with fishing worms or crickets close to the bottom. Target any cover you see and try to reach as many different depths as you can. I have been drop shoting night crawlers to locate bluegill shel crackers and catfish.
