Thanks Kiana. Just learned about this site thru In-Fisherman magazine and it is awesome. Only been into the bluegill and shellcracker 3 yrs. but it is taking over my crappie fishing. Having a blast.

I have always wanted some "Shut-Up-& Fish" T-Shirts. Can anyone help?
  • rick gamblin

Thanks Kiana, I will start searching google for those shirts. Left a comment for you about using jigs on the favorite bait page. This set-up is so much easier than the live bait. Allows more time for fishing than having to reach for live bait.

    thanks for the welcome
took my little girl out yesterday and she caught 8 nice bluegills with ice still on the pond. nothing huge (8-8.5) but they sure did taste good. She is 3 1/2 and know what to do with them. Her first comments when we got in the truck were "daddy lets eat them"
  • Tom

Good to be here. Do you fish Reelfoot or Kentucky Lake? I love Tennessee! Some of the nicest redears I ever caught were from Dale Hollow right by the boat slips after we'd been out on the lake all day.
  • Christine Arnold

Thanks Kiana. i will try to update some info as I am able. Hopefully, I can hit the lakes and streams soon around here! The weather has been great, unfortunately, I have a lot of work committments too!

Thanks for the welcome. I went down to my sons house in Tampa and got to catch some of those Florida bluegills. I am definitely hooked, no pun intended. I think I will plan a 2 week trip down there in the spring when they bed up to spawn. In Michigan that isn't until June, what time of the year do the bluegills bed up in Florida.
  • Roger Walker

    Hi Kiana,
Fishing here in Southern Florida ( N W Lake Okeechobee area ), is still pretty good, when the wind & weather allows me to get out ( most of my fishing is done with a fly rod ).
I can usually get out at least once a week, sometimes more.
    Take care Roger
  • Artie McNay

Thanks for the invite. Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, but I haven't had a lot of time to get on the net this summer. With things at work winding down this fall, I will hopefully talk to you again soon.
    Thanks again....Andy
