I have a story about fillets coming back to life out of the frying pan and exacting revenge on everybody attending the fish fry. I think I'll call it something like "The Attack of the Zombie Gill Fillets."

Thank you. I am mostly on the Texas Fishing Forum, but found this site while on there. I've grown up fishing for all kinds of "perch" in Texas, but now mostly target bass. During the summer I do more fly fishing for blue gills, GSF (goggle-eye to me), long ears, red ears, etc. Can't seem to break away from my younger days of fishing the creeks and tanks in the DFW area.

I couldn't wait until Spring to fish; Ive been icefishing for the last two weeks. We've caught over 500 gills in that time. Some good-o-biggins' and some not so big. Oh ya, we caught some big-o-goodins' too.
Glad to hear the ice missed you. Good luck this Spring.
