    Hey John,

This was actually a Redear from Tampa, from a cypress
tree. Like to have a stringer of these guys. Got him on
    a bee moth.

    Keep a tight line

That fish eye pic has a slightly different story. The spinner rig is one we use when targetting white perch/tipped with a redworm or small nightcrawler. This was what I pulled in one time after seeing the rod tip act different. The worm was gone. One of those "strange catches".

Very nice guitar work!.....I too am a musician.....I'll take you up on that soundtrack.
  • Bruce Condello

    That's YOU on guitar??? !!!! ???

Holy smokes! That's great!!! Will the site allow me to move one of those tunes to my home page?
  • Loren W. Moseley

Thanks for the compliment. You can see more of my carvings of other subjects on: http://lwmose0.tripod.com.otceBOOK.htm. The ones shown on the site are not all! I have a ledger that lists 183. However, I have not done much more since retiring in Jan 1994 except finishing the pot-bellied LM bass the first week of retirement. It was a commission from 2 years prior??. She still wanted it for her husband's birthday.

Glad to be of help with the reunion. Not much to update with at the moment. But starting next month I will keep you posted. Hey you got any other tips on lures? Hit me up when you got time.

Hey John, looks like you do a lot of ice fishing...anything happening now in your area? We did 1 1/2 days of jigging at Deep Creek over the weekend and worked really hard for 34 yellow perch from 11 to 13 3/4 in and some bonus walleyes and smallmouths. Stayed on the move til we found the fish. See ya!

Close your eyes and listen to John Sheehan's songs. It's practically impossible to not imagine yourself walking through a thick fencerow hoping to spook up a ringneck pheasant. The first time I heard his music I imagined what might have happened if Segovia met Knopfler on an ice covered pond for some fishin' and pickin'. Calming, yet upbeat...I think John Sheehan's got it pegged. Really good stuff.
  • Rick C

Sure, I'd like to go ice fishing. Where should we go?
I guess we will need some "antifreeze"!
Just let me know where and when-
  • Bill "Musky" Modica

The slide work in Trout and day lillie is phenominal and has me on a Zepplin flashback!
  • Rick C

Yeah, I heard they've seen UFOs up there! I'll give you a call.

John, left info on the pic you left comment on. Tells what the are & where I got them. Thanks for the comment, Enjoy this site. Looking forward to adding to it as the weather finally breaks here in Ohio. Ice just not thick enough for me this winter or would have added more already.

Vertical , Drift , Cast (under a bobber)
. Their pretty much versatile. The smaller spoons are weighted with a splitshot when drifting. Or they won't stay down. Tip them with some type of grub or minnow helps me to get more hits.

Hey John, the big crappie pic is in my profile. By the way, great guitar work. I played for a band for 8 years and we produce a couple of CD's or original work, maybe I'll post some.

I haven't tried Monksville Reservoir or Greenwood Lake yet. I have a float tube, but I have a feeling that I would need a canoe or bigger boat to fish those waters...is there good shore fishing there?
