Bright sunny skies, and gin clear water pushed big blue gill deep today.....We used 1/16 oz Bluefox spoons tipped with horizontally rigged plastics, in depths of over 20ft....
Nice Bill Haven't tried spoons very much in the winter usually go with jigs and plastics,I dont usually find my gills deep in the winter either, mostly just a weed bite.Great food for hought.
I've never used spoons for ice fishing. Like Rob I normally use my small jigs with spikes or plastics. Can anyone here school me on how to use a spoons on the ice?
