I live in Magnolia Texas North of Houston. Just started stocking a little 1 ac. pond here in my back yard. Added 400 3" bluegill in September add 200 more next month can take any advice ya might have.
I'd say to wait 'til the temp gets up above 60F. 'Gills, IIRC, don't hit the beds until it's 63F or so, and I think that would give the little ones the best chance of survival.
Anyone interested in buying some fish from The Fish Truck, it will be in Tyler, TX Monday March 1 between 2-3PM at Raley's 5520 Old Jacksonville Road. I've bought fish from them before, haven't had any problems
