Rick,  Lake Wintersett just off Legoland is ready to start spawning, Saturay there were lots of beds but no fish.  Cold water had pushed them off.  Rained yesterday and it warmed up a couple degrees.  I'm heading over there tomorrow morning, hopefullly pix to follow

I've done both cross-country and in-town moves.  Cross-country was renting a big truck with a tow-dolly for my vehicle, with my other half driving her vehicle.  In-town moves are again, big rental truck, but usually not as big, and yes, multiple trips.  We got lucky on the last move, she still had her truck, so we just did a bunch of trips with her truck and my van, and was able to get it all.

Thanks guys for your comments and thoughts. Jen I agree did not know you made so many trips.

Have to get  a license soon. I driving to some lakes this weekend and check out the guys icefishing.

Steve I live in Iron Mountain.. I lived Winter Haven Fl for a year in 2007 and visited Lakeland several times to fly R/C airplanes... Just too hot in Fl for me and the lakes two shallow ...

Hey Rick,  Good on ya for making it to Yooper land, used to be home for me also.

Where in the UP did you settle?  I lived in the Garden area for a bit then had to go find a job.

Glad you made it safely Rick! Moving 500 miles might be more expensive but the 11 trips I made across town to load & then unload really sucked! My last move was 300 miles and a piece of cake...load once, unload once.

Welcome back to the land of the bubbles. Once you settle in, hit those waters hard! Can't wait to see the pics.

Great news!  Can't wait to see your posts and pics about fishing up there.

Do you have any ice fishing gear?  Have  you bought a MI fishing license yet?  I think their licenses expire March 31st, but you can buy them March 1st?
