I will be moving to the NW side this month Charlie. I will definitely hit you up as soon as I can scrounge up some time. Good donut shops sound awesome too. I'd be strictly fishing for bluegill, unless there is some way to fish for walleye from shore. I do not currently have any waders or hip boots.

Craig,

Lots of good shoreline fishing to be had in the greater GR area. What part of town will you be living in? What do you like to fish for? Do you have waders or hip boots?

When you get moved in over here (I live on the east side of town but have lived here 56 years and know most every lake, stream and pond, not to mention every good donut shop in in a 100 mile radius)

my email is cflanders@iserv.net Look forward to talking with you.

Asylum Lake in Kalamazoo, just off Stadium Drive exit on US 131. Owned by Western Michigan University and managed as a park. They don't allow boats, all shore fishing and respectable bluegills are common.
