<p>Been tying fly fishing leaders like you show for years, but I use a surgeons knot (shown in the YouTube video I learned from). The surgeons knot tends to make a slight kink or angle in the leader. Your figure-8 knot looks much nicer! I'm going to try it the next time I make a leader.</p>
