<p>Adaptability! HAH! I was thinking about keeping that Shiner, going back to my van, and getting a catfish rod out! Pass a 3/0 hook through the eye sockets, tie a balloon onto the line, and let it out!</p>

<p>I'm planning on going to a different lake tomorrow. There's LMB in there, but it can be difficult to catch them. I've heard the best bet is live bait, under a balloon. I'm thinking about changing my rigging a bit, ROFL......</p>

Up until last year, I lived in Aiken, SC. They have a community pond there that I fished in frequently. It had a healthy population of golden shiners.<br />
Once they appeared, I could be guaranteed a steady stream of them.<br />
I found them to be great fun and some of then grew to good size. At one point I thought about getting some up for a frying pan session.<br />
I like your multi pronged approach. Adaptability, man!
