<p>I 've kept 8-, 8,1/2 " Bluegills to eat in the past but very few .In this area I don't know many folks that eat Bluegill . A 9-10" is rare and I always release those .</p>

<p>Agreed 100%. I think a smaller slot limit would be better John. Small fish for food for bass and allow the release of larger fish to grow bluegill.</p>

<p>I don't like taking anything over 8 inches out of the lake. Lake has been over fished for years now. I like the daily limit, would not hurt me any if it was less. Anymore around here an 8in bluegill is a good size gill.</p>
