You see, your reason is: " Hon, if you can buy a new outfit, then turn around wanting a new pair of shoes to go with the outfit, swing around a few days later decide to buy matching purse, sweater, hand bag, and jewelries to match the outfit, well, I can at least get a matching float tube for this wader. Right? You always wanting me to match, right?"

Just make sure to duck.

JB, the reasons are quite simple:

1. It's on sale.

2. It makes your wader looks not just great, but gorgeous. Hm..should I be using that for a guy? How about, it makes you look like, "You can't touch this."

I have an ODC-420 Light (it does not have an inflatable seat, it has a hard foam seat), and I have this to say about it: I got it at a great price on eBay and it has served me well and ridden over all sorts of snags and what not without a puncture, , but one day I happened to see a Fish Cat 4 in the Rancho Cucamonga Bass Pro Shops, and I said to myself, "Self, you should have bought yourself one of those." The valve position, the pocket sizes, everything was just better.

I need to get a new pair of waders (mine leak slightly somewhere and I come out a bit damp every time I use them, wish I could figure out some reason why I need a Fish Cat 4 to go with them LOL.

I've never tried a Cumberland and so can't comment, but if the choice comes down to FC 4 or ODC 420, go with the FC4. You'll be glad you did.

And thanks for the info on tubing Perris, guys. I hope to make it here next spring or summer.

Yes on the puncture resistance. No on the weight, that is, if you place it inside, covering the entire bladder all the way up above the water mark. There are too much possibility for water dragging on the outside if you don't cover the external cover properly. If there's plenty of water intrusion, or you end up sitting slightly in the water (rather than above), you got plenty of trapped water weight to worry about.
Imagine the inside of the fab…tag:bigbluegill.ning.com,2013-11-18:2036984:Comment:4526812013-11-18T10:49:27.696ZDavid, aka, "McScruff"https://bigbluegill.ning.com/profile/david553
Imagine the inside of the fabric shell lined with heavy vinyl sail cloth, covering the bottom of the flotation bladder. Surely that would add an extra layer of puncture resistance, with no penalty in weight?

I not sure if adding material will matter. Doesn't the cumberland have a heavier nylon then the other Classic assessories tubes? I was looking at the cumberland, but I found a good deal on the odc, so I went with it.
