<p>For our guide service we use the 1/12 oz gold CastMaster for everything… especially the schooling peacock and largemouth bass. That size matches the size of the shad they are chasing. Using even 4# test you can still straighten out the standard star hooks that come with the lure. Using 10# test braid line and inexperienced anglers, you loose more fish to broken or straightened hooks than you land. I remove the star hook and replace it with a Gamakatsu #6 live bait hook.. or Owner hook… …</p>
