<p>Spoons are a great lure for crappies, I have them in my tackle box and break them out often but I don't believe that to be the secret to catching more fish. This video is a little deceiving because they make you think they are catching the crappies over a bed of weeds as they start the video with a school in them but when they show the graph the fisherman are reading it's showing almost 35'.... I have found the most helpful videos to be like the article you posted originally Mr. Slip Sinker.…</p>

<p>Thanks for this video Ken .My two favorite spoons for Ice Crappie are the Nungesser and the 'Luhr Jensen Hus'. I've done well using a shiner head or tail section tipped on these spoons. It's amazing how big a package a 12" Crappie will commit to ! .</p>
