Boys ,down here in the southern swamps the "BITSY MINNOW", (SILVER) One day they hit it TOP-WATER ,next day SLOW RETRIEVE!!!!!! I've literally caught Stringers full and I NEVER eat a fish with skin on, I FILET them and call them bream nuggets!!!!!!!!!! MUM---MUM-----MUM

I am anxious to see this list develop. My recent experience is limited but I will mention a couple lures that have worked for me over the long term.<br />

My favorite all time jig is a simple single curly tail soft plastic in motor oil, chartreuce, yellow or white. I prefer 1/16th oz.<br />
<br />
I also like a few classic crappie jigs in the same size. My favorite patterns are black/white/red, yellow and white.<br />

I like some of the new soft jigs that look like a real fish but they have yet to catch the numbers…
