I have eaten smaller bass my entire life........Some folks oppose but we actually target 8 to 10 inch bass to keep in Virginia......they have to be 14 inches east of Interstate 95 to keep in North Carolina.....too big for me with the exception of an occasional larger bass to stuff with crab meat.....
If you're so inclined, LMBs are tasty :)
