Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Got my new PB steelhead this morning. I never got into these as much as I have other fish, but we usually try a couple times each season. Not a huge fish compared to what can come out of the Lake Erie tributaries, but I was pretty thrilled with it. Gave a few nice leaps before I was able to land it.

I hear you, Slip. I certainly never called myself a good steelhead fisherman. Before that day, I had only landed two of them over a couple dozen tries over the last 10-12 years. Like you mentioned in the week leading up to that weekend, it was expected to be an excellent day on the calendar according to the solunar forecast. It didn't disappoint.

20180317*-wow these fish are amazing!... and to tag 8 in one day ... one of the toughest species to tag on hook & line... i don't think Ive caught 8 in my lifetime... nice work!
