Thanks all. I've also painted up some jigheads and done the same pattern on those. I did some 1/16th, and two different sizes of 1/32. My plan is to use these flies in streams with my fly rods, but the jigs will be suspended from a float, probably a Wobble Bobber, swimming along over submerged weeds, letting wave action jig the thing up and down, just like a Leech swims. We shall see how effective they are....
