One of my favorite ponds on the Eastern Shore is Unicorn in Millington, MD. It is about 43 acres and full of large blue gills, crappie, chain pickerel, bass and some yellow perch. The picture on my profile is a 12" bluegill caught there on a popper.

Comment by JC on September 24, 2010 at 12:14pm: I am a little late showing up but to answer the question about favorite fishing spots, mine has to be the Pocomoke River. I am learning to fish a number of areas including some of the tributaries. Access is widely available in any of the towns along the river as well as from Shad Landing State Park.

I fish for bluegill, pumpkinseed, crappie, largemouth, white catfish, channel catfish, brown bullheads and other species.
