Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Son-In-Law's Personal Best Largemouth......6.5 Pounds.......5/12/2020

We were fishing along a bulkhead and located some big bluegill when Joe casted his live cricket in two feet of water and screamed on hook set......during the fight on light tackle the bass wrapped around a bulkhead piling so I quickly flew in on trolling motor and dug down and got him for Joe.....Happy Days!

Thanks again John....No worries......as you know, the picture gets posted while you're still editing/adding text.......my nephew caught a bass near nine pounds just a block from this spot and I've caught six over five pouds in the same canal.......it's very fertile for all freshwater species in our region.......
