  • Ken, Thanks to you, I enjoy my bluegill fishing so much more now, and have joined your thinking of "Micro" when it comes to gills.  I look forward to "learning" more from you and others when this micro topic really gets going.  Thanks for all the help/info you have shared with me and all; your great informative posts on this site.

Thanks Marvin for the kind words! I love helping fellow fisherman out! If I have any form of success or failure… I share! Just 6 short years ago I was just an avg Joe fisherman when it came to panfish  especially Lepomis. Now I’m an addicted fisherman! … and I have largely this site and contributors to also thank!

There has been no other form of b.gill fishing method in my book that could even come close to fishing productivity than micro-jigging for them.

Those blurry pics at Chuck and Debs could use some updating but the site looks like good prices and availability for micro stuff.

I haven’t ordered from them lately, but you can’t go wrong with them in my opinion.

Good Post Tracy ! Thanks Allen !Chuck and Deb huh . never ordered from them but might have to .Carl has mentioned that outlet quite a few times.

I have used beaded jigs 8" above a pounding dropper bell sinker through the ice with results .I can see trying that from a boat if the wind is down .,as an alternative to float fishing . It might be a good summer technique .Last time I found decent Gills they were in 20 ' of water outside a weed line. Drifting slowly over them with a vertical approach ice fishing set up sounds good .
