Not sure Jeff -  mouth isn't large enough and not enough turquoise in the cheeks. These guys don't give up - fight to the net.

I really don't think these are hybrids.  Pretty sure they are just large Green Sunfish.   There used to be lots of them where Sonny is catching them.  I've mounted a couple GS from another California lake that were about 12 inches, so they can get big.
