Hey Ken............gills scattered at intermediate depths of four to six feet and Crappie are stacked back in like chord wood in on shallow cover.................not as many gills today but another prosperous day on slab crappie.........

Thanks all............a species that does really well in the brackish waters of the Albemarle estuary........food is abundant......water rarely stays stagnant for very long........good predator balance.......good public waters with little intervention..................
