The snow here is not melting and I couldn't get on the ice. My only access point had plowed snow piled high; I tried but was sinking to my thighs. This sucks!

As soon as the ice locked up back in December, it got too frigid to fish without a shelter—at least for me. I’m getting a shelter this week, so hopefully I’ll still have the rest of February and March to get out there. Cold is predicted straight through April around here.

Hope you’re doing well.
